Portland Acupuncture for Auto Accident Insurance Claims

Personal Injury Protection (PIP) Claims & Inner Works Acupuncture

Inner Works Acupuncture does see clients with injuries from motor vehicle accidents or on-the-job injuries. However, we do not bill insurance for Worker’s Comp claims or auto insurance personal injury (PIP) claims. We can give you the information that you need to submit the claim for reimbursement. You would pay at time-of-service and then submit for reimbursement.

PIP Coverage Parameters

All non-commercial auto insurance policies in Oregon (non-commercial) have mandatory coverage for no-fault injuries sustained in auto, bicycle, or pedestrian accidents. This is not mandatory for motorcycle accidents, but it may still be covered by your specific provider.

PIP coverage for medical bills lasts for one to two years following the accident in question, depending on your policy issue date. PIP does cover acupuncture and manual therapy (Zero Balancing) for motor vehicle accident injuries. If you are injured, please call your insurance company to open a claim and verify your coverage.

Please contact us at (503) 227-2127 with any questions. At Inner Works Acupuncture Dr. Elizabeth Zenger will work with your insurance provider and help you in your healing process.
