Description:
Zero Balancing I is the first course of the two-part Core Zero Balancing curriculum. In ZB I, you will learn the full-body protocol that forms the foundation of ZB. You will be able to apply these skills right away for effective treatment with clients. ZB touch skills will enhance any other hands-on healing work that you do. ZB I introduces you to the technique, theory and history of Zero Balancing. In this hands-on workshop, you will learn how to perform Zero Balancing and will also receive Zero Balancing sessions. The instructors will deliver clear presentations and demonstrations of Zero Balancing techniques. A detailed study guide is included in the course tuition.
You will learn:
- A basic treatment protocol that addresses the whole body in about 30 minutes
- Theory and principles of ZB
- To distinguish body energy and body structure through touch
- The skill of using energy as a working tool
- The energetic anatomy of the skeleton
- The theory and application of Zero Balancing techniques called fulcrums
- How to give a ZB session that addresses the whole body

Description:
Zero Balancing II is the second half of the Core Zero Balancing program. In ZB II, you will refine your skills performing the fulcrums from ZB I while learning new fulcrums that will complete the Zero Balancing Core Protocol. You will expand your understanding of how and why Zero Balancing is so effective.
Note: ZB II is highly recommended for all ZB practitioners who have not taken a ZB course in a while as it includes the most up-to-date methods for performing Zero Balancing.
You will learn:
- A review of the basic ZB protocol with an emphasis on quality of touch, focus and positioning of the practitioner
- To deepen your understanding of ZB theory, principles and techniques
- Additional techniques and an expanded protocol to address more of the body
- New skills and coordination in handling energy and structure
- How to frame or set goals for a ZB session
- To advance your ability to work with expanded states of consciousness
- To give and receive constructive peer feedback
- To acquire experience in preparation for advanced study

Description:
This class was designed for active independent seniors who can walk without a cane for 15 minutes. It is a blend of slow-motion movements that improve balance, coordination, flexibility, and focus combined with physical therapy techniques of sensory awareness and integration, providing the student with the tools to navigate their environment with confidence and a feeling of empowerment. Michael Siegel has been teaching Tai Chi since 1980 with the permission of Master Kai Ying Tung and has been a physical therapist since 1963 with teaching experience in Australia, Japan, and Zambia.

Description:
Your hands play a large role in receiving and moving Qi, and hands represent a microsystem for the entire body. Mudras, or specific hand gestures, serve as a direct connection between the hands and the brain. This seated qigong form uses various hand gestures to achieve multiple effects for health.
The name of this form is based on Buddhist philosophy and passed down by several generations from the Ling Gui Medical Qigong lineage. With practice, you can discover the form’s meaning from its beauty and elegance.

Barbara de la Torre, MD is a physician, acupuncturist, and Master Certified Qigong Instructor of the Ling Gui method. She is board certified in Family Medicine and Medical Acupuncture, and began her qigong studies in 1998. She spent the last nine years studying medical qigong with Ling Gui Masters Liu He and Liu Dong, who hold a lineage that began over 2,000 years ago. Barbara specializes in creative approaches to health, and enjoys teaching people how to tap into their own healing potential through the practice and philosophy of qigong.

With the modern fast-paced society, many people are consistently draining their Yang Qi. Celestial Pillar is a powerful standing qigong form that helps you cultivate your vitality by building Yang Qi, which protects you from susceptibility to illness. As your Yang Qi decreases, you have a greater potential to become ill. We need Yin Qi to help form and support the organs and we need Yang Qi for warming, distribution, and putting things in motion.
